2022 Renew and Breakthrough
It is exciting to start fresh with a new slate!
Just think how many times you have said this to yourself on January first; I am starting a new! I will do this project, lose some pounds, eat healthier, show more love, etc. You are not alone, so go ahead and hug yourself from me and from all of us who have been there. So, what are you going to do about it this year that will make it different? Make it a success? Well, the difference might be in these next few steps.
- Know your values
- Know your purpose, your identity.
- Know your strengths, your superpowers, know your weaknesses, and learn about yourself. Both of these can work for you or against you.
- Know your support system. Hire a coach if you feel you need some extra support. Don’t try to do it alone!
- Know your mindset! What is going on in your head? Your thoughts and beliefs? When there is difficulty sticking to a plan or project, making excuses, or creating negative self-talk, it might be a good time to get coaching guidance and
accountability. - Know what you want most to achieve. What are the results? Be specific!
- Ask yourself why you want to achieve that specific result and how it will change your life? Why does it matter to you? Will it affect others in your life?
- Focus now on how to achieve your goal. What will it take to get there? If you are uncertain, hire a coach. Why reinvent the wheel, make unnecessary mistakes, or waste precious time figuring out how to do it when you can get professional help.
- Keep the first steps easy.
- First, focus on the project or goal. Where there is mental focus, there is energy!
Your brain will help you get to your destination! Use the power of mental focus! Visualize it happening, create a mantra or positive goto word for you to use daily to remind yourself of your vision, write it down. Carry it with you everywhere, look at it, have it visible in areas you spend most of your time, have it on your phone, record yourself verbalizing it, tell your support team, say it daily until it becomes a daily habit. Create a vision board if you are a visual learner. - Create and plan your journey and start with easy small steps. We all want “it” now, but it is unrealistic. It will be a process of change, it will take patience, and it will be a remarkable journey, a transformation! Enjoy it! Now take
action!!!
Plan your week with your goal in mind. Remember small doable steps! - Prepare for your week.
- Plan for obstacles, log jams, and you know they occur.
- Keep a gratitude or progress journal.
- Spend time, including self-care, and create a healthy balance in all aspects of your life wheel! Meditate and or take time to breathe! Get outside. Remember, no stress! Stress is so bad for you. Be kind to yourself. We all tend to be are our own worst enemies. Remember, we are not perfect beings!
- Check your progress after the first week.
- Reward yourself and celebrate your progress!
- Repeat steps 10-18!
There you have it! You can do this! Remember, I am here for you if you need support, coaching, accountability, motivation, and always here to listen. We can walk your journey together!
Here is to your success! I believe in you!!!
