Feast of St. Francis: October 4, 2025

🙏🏻Today, on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, my heart is filled with hope and gratitude for the beautiful pioneers of the heart.

✨️ St. Francis was a radical soul who saw the face of God in everything—in “Brother Sun” 🌞and “Sister Moon,” 🌝 in the birds🦅🐦🦉 of the air, and in the poorest beggar. In a world of division, he lived the profound truth that “All are one” in God’s loving embrace. ✝️🕊

❤️ It strikes my heart how this same spirit echoes through the centuries, living in other pioneers like Jane Goodall, who also dedicated her life to listening, to understanding, and to loving God’s creatures with a full and reverent heart. These are the souls who don’t listen to the crowds, but only to the divine whisper within.

✨️ I was so moved today by a line from one of St. Francis’s prayers: “Blessed are they who are found walking…”

That simple phrase is a universe of hope. It doesn’t say “blessed are they who have arrived” or “blessed are they who are perfect.” It blesses the journey itself. It honors the simple, sacred act of putting one foot in front of the other on the path of faith, trusting that God’s grace is with us in every single step.

On this beautiful day, may we all be blessed to be found walking, with a heart as open and loving as St. Francis’s. ❤️

Blessings and love~
